How to be the Perfect Wedding Guest
Having previously been part of the wedding industry, I have seen the havoc certain wedding guests unwittingly create for soon-to-be-wed couples and their families. As wedding season is upon us, I hope addressing some of the common problems might help prevent them from actually occurring.
Preparing for the Big Day
Last week’s article discussed how to respond to a wedding invitation and how to generally be respectful of the families that are planning this special event. So, now that you are attending, here are some tips on planning ahead for attending this wedding day.
At the Ceremony and Reception
This is the final article in this series, and it is about how guests should behave at the event itself. There are a few dos and don'ts for both the ceremony and reception that you should know about before you show up.

Where Do We Keep That?
Sometimes when I coach a company they have a challenge with the right hand not talking to the left hand-i.e., there is no set method for how something should be done. Often times, things are done differently by different people, and the lack of consistency can cause havoc with production both in the business or even at home.
First Day of School
It's been a few years since I have been directly involved with getting my own children ready for the first day of school, as they are older now, yet the memories are quite vivid. Actually, my daughter started this school year as a teacher for the first time, so a very different experience. It was fascinating to hear all that goes on from the teacher's perspective for a change.
School Changes
Starting at a new school by moving from elementary to junior high or from junior high to high school can be anxiety ridden due to the changes and differences that are inherent at the new environment. The biggest changes are generally from elementary to junior high and again from high school to college, as the schedule is quite a bit different.
